Wiley Coyote and Bugs Bunny help!

By rebecca

We are going through adjustments. Whether it be with changing hormones, on many levels, challenging school work, adolescence, or living with one less parent more often than we want, times are sometimes turmultuous in our house.

Kids are kids, and parents need their space too. Well, I do, maybe not all parents. But we had it out tonight. And this is sort of an apology to my kids, to my outburst and to my poor explanation of why I said what I said. I love you all, and you all mean the world to me. I am adjusting to always being alone, trying to find a voice that you actually listen to. Most of the time I feel invisible, screaming without anyone hearing me. I can’t seem to find a voice that makes you jump, truly listen, the “you know I mean business” voice.

And this was my lame attempt at a good old fashioned cartoon graphic of what I remember a good old fashioned collision was like on a good old fashioned cartoon.

Well if its any help at all, we are in our own trasition at the moment too. I don’t know how to be a mom to teen and tweens. I just don’t! Im thinking about trying to find a book. It was much easier when they were little and I could do cute crafts and games and snuggle while watching Blues Clues that was a GREAT day back then. Now…hormones and nothing I do is right it seems. I am at a lost.

Any way, enough. SOrry didn’t mean to go off on my own problems, lol. Don’t beat yourself up over your POW moment. We ALL have them which is where I was going by telling you my own problems.
    Mwah,
