  • Eat, Pray, Love (only about half way through….she is praying and wish she was still in Italy eating………..)

  • Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell….this one will take me a LOOOOONG time to finish, but I think I have the perseverence to do so.

  • The Good Book, which wasn’t exactly what I thought it was….which was the bible but in laymen’s terms….not what it is.

    Hi Rebecca
    Checked out your reading list..I’ve been doing a LOT of that lately. Having a lot of trouble with my sciatic nerve, so I’m not up to much else. AND there haven’t been too many beach days!
    You need to read: “FRIDAY NIGHT KNITTING CLUB” by Kate Jacobs and then the follow up: “KNIT TWO”..loved them both. Am also into Elin Hilderbrand (A SUMMER AFFAIR/quick easy read for nights!) waiting on a couple from the Library. Just finished Debbie Macomber’s “SUMMER ON BLOSSOM STREET”..another good ‘knitters’ book. PLUS there are patterns..like you need anything else to keep you busy!! Hope all is well. Miss you. Hugs to the kids!! L

      Hey Lianne!
      We are just getting back from a week in Maine on the island. Needless to say I am doing laundry and will be for a few days. The weather was mostly good, but today, the leaving day it was very wet and pretty rough seas.

      I wish I would read more. I find I go in waves with reading….I have actually read a few more than is on that list…but what I wanted to say, is that while spending time with family and friends this past week…everyone is reading this book,

      The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I guess it is really good. Just giving you the FYI…maybe you have already read it….but I think I might try to pick that up some time.

      My mom has all those knitting novels, and I have tried to get into the Debbie Macomber but I need my books to horrify me on the first page for me to keep going…sad!

      I really would like to set up a knitting circle when I get home and have us knit some of the knitted boobs and donate them to breast cancer. I think that would be a great reason to get together and I can teach you the 3 needle knitting!! Off to shower for the first time in too long!
